Privacy

Semagram has no accounts and asks you for nothing about yourself. This page describes what the site records, what it is used for, and which other services are involved.

What we record

• Your searches. The words you searched for and any filters you applied, together with which results were shown and which you opened.
• Technical data about the request. We may retain network identifiers of your device and connection, along with information about your browser and device.

This data is used to measure and improve the quality of search results, to understand how the site is used, and to protect the service against abuse and automated traffic. Network identifiers are kept for a limited period and then deleted. It is not sold, not shared for advertising, and not combined with anything that would identify you personally.

The catalogue itself

Semagram indexes public Telegram channels, groups and bots — the same pages anyone can open without an account. It does not read private conversations, does not join anything it indexes, and stores no message you have sent. If you own a channel and want it out of the catalogue, see below.

Cookies and local storage

The site sets one cookie of its own, and it holds the language you chose — nothing that identifies you and nothing that follows you anywhere else. Your theme choice, the notices you have closed and your answer to the consent question are kept in your browser's local storage: they do not leave your device, and clearing your browser data removes them — and the cookie with them.

Other services

• Google Analytics measures how the site is used. It may track device identifiers and set cookies in your browser. See Google's privacy policy; you can also install Google's opt-out browser add-on to stop it entirely.
• Cloudflare Turnstile protects search and channel submission from automated requests, usually without showing you a challenge. Cloudflare may process device identifiers for that purpose. See the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum and Cloudflare's privacy policy.

There is no advertising and no third-party tracking beyond these.

The agent API

Paid requests to the agent API are recorded in the same way, with the payer's blockchain address in place of a visitor's. Payments settle on a public chain; we hold no wallet of yours and see no more of one than the receipt shows.
